Brenda Valle and Jose Valle Death; Husband and Wife In Murder-Suicide Incident

Investigators believe Brenda Valle and Jose Valle committed murder-suicide in their residence. El Cajon’s 1600 block of Hilton Head Court was the scene of a dangerous weapon assault, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies found Brenda Valle, 38, and Jose Benjamin Lopez Valle, 41, shot.

San Diego-born Brenda Valle was born April 22, 1985. After graduating from Crawford and Patrick Henry High Schools, she studied cosmetology at San Diego City College after studying general education at Grossmont College.

She worked as a bus operator with the Metropolitan Transit System in San Diego from 2008 to 2013. Brenda then became a Cajon Valley Union School District school bus operator and a Naval Facilities Engineering Command Careers employee.

Investigation, aftermath

Jose’s gunshot wound appears to have been self-inflicted. The couple’s three children—eleven, sixteen, and eighteen—are safe and well-cared for.
