Velveteen Dream Confirms He Has Not Visited WWE Performance Center
Velveteen Dream (Patrick Clark) has not been at the WWE Performance Center, despite a report that stated otherwise.
Twitter account BWE sparked some buzz by writing that former NXT star Velveteen Dream, who was released in May 2021, had been at the WWE Performance Center. The post noted that he was there on October 9.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per a WWE higher-up, they have no interest in re-signing Velveteen Dream right now. This source noted that something “very shocking” would have to happen in order for the former NXT star to be brought back.
Dream has been surrounded by various issues and controversies. Among other examples, he has faced accusations that he filmed wrestlers in the bathroom without their consent. Clark was also arrested twice in August 2022.
Velveteen Dream Not Seen At WWE Performance Center
Sapp also cited numerous sources who are often at the WWE Performance Center. One of these sources noted that they haven’t seen Velveteen Dream around or heard anything about that. Another stated that they didn’t think he’d get a job back with WWE after everything that had happened. Other sources said that they had not seen Dream.
The report also stated that Dream being at the Performance Center has not been confirmed, so it is being kept away from talent if he actually is there. Per Sapp, WWE emphatically stated that Dream has not been at the WWE Performance Center.
Dream himself denied the report that he was at the Performance Center. On his Instagram stories, he stated that he has not visited the Performance Center or any WWE events or facilities.
